JoAnn M. Buettner has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of protection, response, and security management.
JoAnn has strived to build a comprehensive and versatile foundation in security services with the goal of providing the best in protection of persons, information, and property. She holds a Master of Science degree in Business and Organizational Security Management. Specializing in emergency planning, response operations, preventive security measures, and crime scene investigation. She has twenty-five years in law enforcement where she served in training, investigations, and personal and transportation protection. JoAnn served as the lead traffic instructor at the Criminal Justice Training Commission providing training to numerous city police, county sheriff, wildlife enforcement, and tribal police. She was promoted to management and served in the Homeland Security Division, Field Operations Bureau, and the Commercial Motor Vehicle Division. JoAnn graduated from the School of Police Staff and Command from Northwestern University.
Prior to her career in law enforcement, she was an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Serving as an Adjutant, she ensured Command Staff were properly taken care of. During her service, she attended the Naval Justice School where she was trained as a traffic magistrate and to assist in military investigations. She assisted with officer recruitment, traveling to colleges throughout the west coast. JoAnn was assigned to escort dignitaries and provide military insight for a celebrity staring as a female Marine officer in a long running TV series.
Beyond her professional and educational accomplishments, JoAnn enjoys world travel, learning about and experiencing different cultures. She believes in health and fitness and has trained under professional athletes to stay fit.
